The cottage

The cottage is a two-bedroomed property with lovely views down the valley and across to both the Luberon and the Ventoux mountains. It is situated in the centre of the village amidst the winding streets, near to the church and fountain.

The views from the front of the house are across a pretty neighbouring walled garden. The views from the back of the house, including the main bedroom, sweep down a valley of open fields, vineyards and cherry orchards.

Accommodation

The cottage has a simple feel with traditional Provençal terracotta-tiled floors and white-washed walls. On the ground floor is a kitchen and living area. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas hob and oven. There is a table and chairs for eating and a two-seater sofa for relaxing. There is a wood-burning stove for heating in the winter months.

Stone stairs lead up to the first bedroom which has a shower room. Further stone stairs lead to the top bedroom. Both bedrooms have a double bed and antique chest of drawers.

Linen

Linen is not provided. You need to bring sheets, duvet covers, towels and tea towels.

Parking

The house is in a narrow street not accessible to cars which makes it a peaceful setting. There are parking spaces two houses along in front of the church, or in the main square, 100 yards away.

Cleaning

Tenants are asked to clean the house at the end of the stay. Cleaning equipment is provided. It is an easy cottage to clean and the arrangement keeps the rental at a reasonable rate.

Please note

The open stone staircases are not suitable for young children or for those who have difficulty walking or who are unsteady on their feet
